Hi Deirdre,

I appreciate your comments.

I joined this list very recently so I have just been observing.

In Jamaica our Data Protection Act has only recently taken effect. I am
interested in the discussion as a person with a disability as well as
from the viewpoint of someone who has some responsibility for managing
personal data which has been collected. I am very keen to hear about
issues relating to data protection which would require special attention
as they relate to persons with disabilities.
