Hi All,

As we gear up for the IGF2023 in Kyoto, Japan, from 8-12 October 2023, I am reaching out to all of you with call for interest for DCAD Fellowship Mentor.

We are in search of an experienced mentor who not only possesses expertise in accessibility and disability-related issues but also has a deep understanding of the IGF system and the multistakeholder model. The mentor will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting our DCAD fellowship recipients in preparing for and maximizing their opportunities at IGF2023.

Responsibilities of the Mentor:

   - Offer guidance and advice to fellows on preparing for IGF2023.
   - Facilitate remote calls and maintain regular contact with fellows leading up to and during the event.
   - Share insights into the IGF system and the multistakeholder model to help fellows navigate the event effectively.
   - Assist fellows in identifying and attending relevant sessions and workshops.
   - Provide networking opportunities and introduce fellows to key contacts.
   - Offer insights and share knowledge to enhance the fellows' understanding of accessibility and disability-related issues.

Ideally, we are looking for a mentor who will be participating in person at IGF2023 to ensure close interaction with the fellows during the event. Your presence at the event would greatly enhance the mentorship experience.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor or have suggestions for potential mentors, please reply to this email or reach out to me directly no latter than Tuesday, 25 Sep 2023 09:00 UTC.

Best,

Dr. Muhammad Shabbir,
