[DCAD] IGF DCAD Session on Workshop Proposals - 26 February 2025

Dear All,

 

On Wednesday 26 February 2025,  we discussed IGF workshop proposals related
to digital accessibility for persons with disabilities.

 

The call for session proposals and booths closes on March 12, with around 80
session slots available. Evaluation criteria include: proposed topic
alignment, workshop content, policy questions, engagement strategy, and
diversity. Specific tips included: ensuring gender and geographic diversity,
and considering sub-themes like digital trust, innovation, cooperation, and
rights. The importance of clear, concise proposals and potential synergies
with intersessional groups was highlighted. 

 

A key outcome of the session was the IGF Secretariat's confirmation that
individuals facing accessibility challenges in completing the online
workshop proposal form may submit their proposals in a Word document to the
Secretariat before 12 March. The Secretariat will then assist by populating
the form fields on their behalf.
