[DCAD] Introduction as an applicant of DCAD 2024

Hello, good evening.

I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing this to introduce myself as
one of the applicants DCAD 2024.

My name is Ibrahim Tukur. I'm a hearing Impaired individual from Katsina
State, Nigeria. I earned my first degree in Special Education and Sociology
at Bayero University Kano. I'm working as Head Master at Dambo Tukur School
For The Deaf, Ingawa where I teach and administratie the activities of the
school. I serve as Youth Leader of Katsina State Association of Deaf where
I empower and educate Deaf Youths and fight for the right of the
deaf community. I also serve as Special Assistant on Disability Affairs at
National Assembly, Abuja where I advise and assist Member House of
Representative for Kankia,Ingawa and Kusada Federal Constituency.

I'm a Disability Rights and SDGs advocate. My long-term goal is to achieve
reduced inequities and contribute to a more inclusive society where persons
with disability will have equal opportunities to participate in all aspects
of life including education, employment, Empowerment and Healthcare. I
believe that everyone regardless of their abilities deserves to thrive.

I hope that my will be considered so that I can learn and contribute
towards achieving your goals.
