Dear Moshood,

Thank you for your diligent work in identifying additional workshops that are relevant to People with Disabilities in the IGF 2024 programme. Your suggestions are valuable and contribute significantly to our ongoing efforts to ensure inclusivity.

Although many of the 86 selected proposals can potentially include a disability focus, my criteria for selecting a workshop proposal was the explicit mention of persons with disabilities in the proposal. Of your selected proposals, 

IGF 2024 WS #236 Ensuring Human Rights and Inclusion: An Algorithmic Strategy <https://intgovforum.org/en/content/igf-2024-ws-236-ensuring-human-rights-and-inclusion-an-algorithmic-strategy> , 

meets this criterion, so I will include it in my list.

Your insights into the application of our disability space based on inclusion are invaluable. I encourage others in our coalition to review these workshops and provide any additional comments, advice, or thoughts.

As we move forward, it is important to engage with the respective workshop organizers to understand how we can support and promote these sessions to maximize their impact on the persons with disability community.

Thank you for your continued interest in the disability-related workshops for IGF 2024. There have been numerous emails on this list expressing interest in these workshops, so I wanted to provide some clarifications.

I had shared the list of accepted workshops for information purposes. The workshops have been approved by the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG), and I do not believe that additional speakers will be necessary at this time. Any questions regarding the workshop proposals should be directed to the respective workshop organizers. Further information about the workshops may be found at the workshop links also included in my original email.

For those interested in attending the workshops, there are two options available:

1.      In-Person Participation: If you will be in Riyadh during IGF 2024, you can join the workshops in person.

2.      Online Participation: You can also join and participate in the workshops online.

Concerning funding, the Dynamic Coalition on Accessibility and Disability (DCAD) has limited funds available to support people with disabilities aspiring to attend in person. We may also provide support for online participation. The call for applications for this funding is currently ongoing, and decisions will be made by the fellowship selection committee.
