Thanks Judith for starting a google docs. Following is my input, please include this in the online document.

Dear All,

If you have any input on this proposal, please feel free to discuss it here as there is not much time left.

We also need some speakers (at least 2) for the session from different regions and stakeholder groups. So if you think yourself suitable please send your name, organization affiliation, country of residence, lived experience of disability (if any), brief topic relating to below session title, and a brief para explaining your title and its relevance to the session title.

We request that you send this information at: info at igf-dcad.org <mailto:info at igf-dcad.org> to us before 26 April to include this in the proposal and facilitate a timely submission.

Following is my input for the proposal:

Name of Requesting Dynamic Coalition: Dynamic Coalition on Accessibility and Disability

Session Title: "Building Barrier-Free Emerging Technologies"

Theme of Proposal: Ensuring inclusive access to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), for persons with disabilities.

Select the room layout and duration for the session: Roundtable, 90 minutes.

Session Duration: 90 minutes

Why is the session format (room layout and duration) best suited for your activity?

The roundtable layout fosters collaborative discussion and allows for active participation from both onsite and online attendees. A 90-minute duration ensures sufficient time for in-depth exploration of the topic while accommodating diverse perspectives and audience engagement.

HI DCAD Members,

As was discussed on the call, I have begun drafting the session proposal focusing on the third theme, Advancing human rights and inclusion in the digital age

I have also copied and pasted the instructions sheet from the IGF about the requirements needed for the session, what type of session, the length of the session, and other required details. I am attaching this as a Word document, titled Proposal Questions.

As Nicodemus suggested, I have opened a Google Doc so we could collaborate together. Hopefully the document is accessible to all. If people have accessibility issues, please do let me know, but I believe since it is straight text there should not be issues.

Everyone will have commenting access to the document so that I can see the suggestions comments that you are making to the document. We also need to decide on the type of session, Roundtable, theatre, etc and the length of the session

Also which of the SDG goals do we meet

The shared document can be found here, https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t6BDhVk19kGojdaJL6vlx8NPVQFJf9OJ0Xggbw0uIrs/edit?usp=sharing

I look forward to hearing from all

Best,

Judith Hellerstein

Hello Judith,

I was wondering if there is a shared document that we could use to collaborate on drafting the session proposal? If so, would you mind sharing it with me?
