I have some deep concerns now. As I also saw Joly's DCAD list minute ago. It was a reflection of my old list that I turned over to ISOC. Masahito Kawamori and G3ict members were on it. It was quite large. We should send the invitation to them as well. On the other hand maybe you should send an invitation directly as he is the rapporteur for the ITU-T SG16 Q26 accessibility question. We could and should explain why we are having this meeting. I could follow up with an email as we discussed. Axel Leblois and other G3ict members are on this list too. The same should apply to Axel Leblois and the others. After all we are trying to resurrect and build DCAD not maintain the current DCAD status quo whose members diminished from that original list
Have we sent everyone on that list an invitation and an explanation? Or are we using the whittled down list of the people who were on the final list at ISOC? I did not see an explanation with the invitation as to why we are having this meeting either. Should we not give the intention of the meeting mentioned after such long silence and the old list resurrected? We are trying to resurrect DCAD we need them to return. This would be beneficial for IGF as well We really should not choose a leader until everyone can be contacted from the original list. Then maybe people will come back and participate.

What concerns me is I can't find the original invitation. Is this part of Doodle poll protocol? I thought it was an email. I will now check the date in the calendar now that I know what it is. I even checked the deleted folder as sometimes invitations from ITU after one responds to the invitation goes to the deleted folder. Was the link on there as well??

If I can make suggestion please use Caption First as then you can have a transcript for all who can't make it. You can then send that out retrospectively . Also the display is better with full page display on the stream text the web page.
ASR simply does not allow this and the display is not easy to read on a one or two even three line disappearing display quickly It is difficult to read for those with any kind of reading problem and second language usage. The money is now there for this so it can be done.

Dear DCAD Members,
Lately, the DCAD has been quite silent and the result has been that in 2022 there was no representation of DCAD in IGF. In our understanding this has been due to mainly because of lack of leadership, dearth of activeness of DCAD members and its governance structure. We (Myself, Shabbir, Peter, Judy, and Lidia) have been thinking and discussing this issue amongst and others as well. in this context, myself and Shabbir talked to some other DCs and found that we need to change our governance model as well as find new coordinator(s).
To discuss this and decide a future plan of action, we feel that an extraordinary meeting of DCAD is necessary. So, please use this Doodle to mark your availability for date/time you can attend an online meeting through Zoom. Kindly mark as many options as you can and we'll pick the most popular time.
